I mean personally I think a 1/1 zealous and 20/20 sundering mods are perfects since pvp warriors should** usually have a 1/1 under weapon sets. |

as someone who has traded more weapons than anyone here; "perfect" generally refers to r8.
there are a lot of people who like to use the term "perfect" for any item with a perfect damage mod, but the term in the past, and still is, among the more prevalant traders, referring to a r8 weapon. while r7 is by all means perfect, not all weapons are capable of achieving r7 with perfect mods, the lowest req that any weapon can have and have perfect mods is r8, so, universally, r8 is the definition of "perfect." r7 weapons were (at their inception) so entirely rare that considering a r8 non-perfect was just not a possibility, as only a few dozen people possessed perfectly modded r7s. that tradition has persisted till now, and, so, r8 is still considered the bottom-line perfect mod, though there are a few people who deal almost exclusivly in r7s (even i dont do this...as my collections are far, far too large to make this even remotly possible). r9 is NOT considered perfect, but rather close to it. simply because its the next best thing to r8, and is more or less, just as good. that having been said, it is NOT the lowest-commonly-held requirement for all weapon types, and so, deeming it a "perfect" requirement is not only inaccurate, but not the standard. and thats my sentiment, -Akh. oh...and as to this: Quote:

Perfects ?
Yes the term perfect is attached to almost every title in the high end sales forum...
Traditionally "Perfect" referred to a req 8 perfect dmg mod or casting mod....or basically the best armor or dmg mod that can be found on the item.... as well as it being the lowest req needed...generallly this was req 8...req 7s were very far and few..but in the true sense of the word these req 7s are Perfect Perfects.....and yes they can still be found.....even in Factions.. However...In todays market the term Perfect refers more to max dmg mod or casting mod irregarldess of requirment... and that has pretty much stuck....... |

I'm pretty much repeating what everyone else is saying here but..
In terms of weapons, "perfect" is: req 8 15% I don't really care about mods - they're always replaceable. Also, as for caster items, "perfect" is also: req 8 5>50 nrg 10/10 10/20 20/20 That's my take on it anyhow. |
